Daniel Iead, LCSW, AADC
Founder/CEO
Dan is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and an advanced alcohol and drug counselor (AADC) with 30 years of experience. During his career, he has been a senior manager in a clinical setting, helping those with mental health and substance disorders improve the quality of their lives. Dan’s career has been remarkably interesting; he has designed, developed, and managed programs such as detoxification, outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, hospital-based settings, and facility management.
Dan enjoys spending his time outdoors, attempting to experience every adventure on the land and water have to offer. For years, he has known the therapeutic value and transcendent quality of nature, and from that has come his realization that the value of therapy can be exemplified when taken out of the clinical setting and performed within the activities and transcendent settings of the outdoors. Dan is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Meditation, and other best practices in the field.
Dan is a trained fly-fishing guide, P2 paraglider pilot, and an avid backpacker, and he enjoys his time on his motorcycles. He has decades of kayaking and kayak fishing and much more. Dan’s vision is to combine traditional therapeutic interventions with nontraditional activities performed in a natural setting into an impactful experience that motivates and inspires a person to eliminate self-defeating behaviors, problem-solve, and adopt a healthy and natural lifestyle.
